Lengths are cut to order and can be specified for the project. Square cut, pointed, round head, head chamfer, long-side chamfer and head and long-side chamfer combined are all possible.

Spruce fence posts, all the essentials

Product description

Spruce fence posts are made from locally grown spruce as square posts and can be adapted in cross-section, length and machining to the fence project in hand. The surface is available either rough-sawn or planed.

Different options are available for the end finish too. Posts square cut, pointed or made with a round head are possible, as are versions with a head chamfer, a long-side chamfer or a combination of both.

Also common are the terms fence post, corner post and fence pillar.

Areas of use

Spruce fence posts are used as posts for garden, property and screening fences and for other fence constructions in garden and landscape construction.

Depending on the fence build, fence rails, pales, boards or other fence elements can be fixed to them. The appropriate dimension and machining can be chosen for the specific project.

Origin & sustainability

The timber for our spruce fence posts comes from sustainably managed forests in Germany.

Delivery

Delivery is made through various freight partners. The lead time is as a rule approx. 2 to 4 weeks and can vary according to the cross-section, the length, the machining, the order quantity and the delivery location.

Alongside small order quantities, larger quantities up to complete or several lorry loads can also be organised.

Depending on the scope of delivery and the vehicle used, a forklift or comparable lifting equipment may be needed for unloading.

Collection at our Hennef address is not possible, as only our offices are located there.

  • Versions square cut, pointed or made with a round head are possible, as are head and long-side chamfers.
  • The head and long-side chamfer can be combined with each other.
  • With planed stock, the actual finished sizes can be smaller than the original sawn size.
  • Spruce is a natural product. Differences in colour, knots, texture and grain can occur.
  • For outdoor applications, the weathering, the construction and any timber preservation required should be considered for the specific project.
  • Special cross-sections and further machining are possible on request subject to availability.
