Lengths are cut to order and can be specified for the project. Square cut, pointed, round head, head chamfer, long-side chamfer and head and long-side chamfer combined are all possible.

Larch fence posts, all the essentials

Product description

Larch fence posts are made from German larch as square posts and can be adapted in cross-section, length and machining to the fence project in hand. The surface is available either rough-sawn or planed.

The end finish can also be specified individually. Posts square cut, pointed or made with a round head are possible, among others, as are versions with a head chamfer, a long-side chamfer or a combination of head and long-side chamfer. Both functional and visual requirements can therefore be allowed for on a project basis.

Also common are the terms fence post, corner post and fence pillar.

Areas of use

Larch fence posts are used as posts for garden, property and screening fences and for other fence constructions in garden and landscape construction.

Depending on the fence build, fence rails, pales, boards or other fence elements can be fixed to them. The cross-section, length and machining can be chosen to suit the project in hand.

Origin & sustainability

The timber for our larch fence posts comes from sustainably managed forests in Germany.

Delivery

Delivery is made through various freight partners. The lead time is as a rule approx. 2 to 4 weeks and can vary according to the cross-section, the length, the machining, the order quantity and the delivery location.

Alongside small order quantities, larger quantities up to complete or several lorry loads can also be organised.

Depending on the scope of delivery and the vehicle used, a forklift or comparable lifting equipment may be needed for unloading.

Collection at our Hennef address is not possible, as only our offices are located there.

  • The head and long-side chamfer can be combined with each other depending on the version wanted.
  • With planed stock, the actual finished sizes can be smaller than the original sawn size.
  • Larch is a natural product. Differences in colour, knots, grain and resin content can occur.
  • Special cross-sections and further machining are possible on request subject to availability.
