Product description
Robinia is regarded as Europe's most durable timber, harder than oak and by nature so resistant that no impregnation is needed. Its heartwood protects itself against fungi and rot. That is why robinia stakes are the first choice wherever timber stands in the ground and has to last for many years: pasture fences, horse paddocks, vineyards, playgrounds.
Debarked robinia stakes are used among other things in pasture and paddock fence building, for enclosures and in garden and landscape construction. Their natural grown form gives an original appearance and fits well into gardens, pastures and near-natural outdoor spaces.
In the trade, robinia stakes are also sold as pasture fence stakes, paddock fence stakes or acacia stakes; in everyday speech robinia and acacia usually mean the same timber.
The same timber species cleft instead of round is available as Robinia cleft posts, and the same debarked round form in another timber species as Sweet chestnut round posts. All stakes and posts in the range are in the Stakes & Posts overview.
