Our oak posts and squared timbers are available in rough-sawn or planed versions. Oak wood is characterized by its extreme strength, durability and natural resistance to weathering and pests. It is a heavy, robust wood that is ideal for demanding exterior and interior constructions.
Areas of application and intended use
Oak posts and squared timbers are particularly suitable for exterior and interior load-bearing structures. Rough sawn oak is often used for rustic projects, while planed oak offers a smoother and more aesthetically pleasing finish. These posts and squared timbers are ideal for the construction of stable carports, terrace substructures, pergolas, beam structures, wooden houses and supporting structures in carpentry.
Thanks to their high strength and durability, they are also ideal for permanent structures such as bridges, decks or frameworks that are exposed to extreme weather conditions.
Areas of application
Oak posts and squared timbers are used in many areas, particularly in carpentry, timber construction and gardening and landscaping. They are the first choice when stability and durability are required, for example for the construction of carports, beams, fences and other load-bearing structures. Thanks to their strength, they are also ideal for industrial and agricultural construction projects where high load-bearing capacity is required. Rough sawn finishes lend a rustic look, while planed timbers are preferred for projects with aesthetic requirements.
Origin and sustainability
The wood for our oak posts and squared timber comes from sustainably managed forests in Saxony and Lower Saxony. Oak wood is particularly environmentally friendly as it has a long service life due to its natural durability and therefore rarely needs to be replaced. By using local wood, we help to reduce the carbon footprint and support local forestry at the same time.
Delivery and collection
Delivery is flexible. We work with a large number of forwarding agents and can book any desired transport route for you. The delivery time is usually 2 to a maximum of 4 weeks. Alternatively, you can also collect your order yourself.
Please note: Collection in Hennef is not possible. Collection takes place directly from the responsible production facility, the location of which varies depending on the product. We will be happy to inform you of the appropriate pick-up location after your request, should you decide to collect the goods yourself.
