Product description
Our sawn timber from Erzgebirge aspen is designed as high-quality, valuable wood especially for carpentry work. It comes from sustainably managed forests in the Ore Mountains in Saxony and is PEFC-certified. The wood is harvested in winter and then kiln-dried (KD) to approx. 20% moisture to ensure optimum workability and dimensional stability. It is supplied untrimmed, block-sawn and with a rough-sawn surface.
Areas of application and intended use
This Aspen wood in joinery quality is ideal for furniture construction, interior fittings and demanding joinery work. Due to its excellent stability and finish quality, it can be used for bespoke furniture, fixtures and decorative woodwork. Aspen’s natural beauty and ease of processing make it a preferred choice for projects where both aesthetics and functionality are paramount.

Delivery and collection
Delivery is flexible. We work with a large number of forwarding agents and can book any desired transport route for you. The delivery time is usually 2 to a maximum of 4 weeks. Alternatively, you can also collect your order yourself.
Please note: Collection in Hennef is not possible. Collection takes place directly from the responsible production facility, the location of which varies depending on the product. We will be happy to inform you of the appropriate pick-up location after your request, should you decide to collect the goods yourself.
